Book 2 - Dark Knight Returns

Part 2 of me hating Batman but putting in work....

So called heroes should not be acting the way that Batman acts in DKR, if Batman was really a hero he wouldn't have done the things that he did. I feel like Batman is just a d*uchebag (its not a cuss if I put a star in it right?) The crimes and criminals deserve a response but not the one that Batman is giving them, isn't he supposed to be saving the world or something and not technically harming it even more? They're more dramatic but less dramatic at the same time but in different ways you know this batman is just an a**, well he's like that anyway but he is really like that this time and he tends to take it too far in DKR. Yeah, I suppose I agree with his interpretation of the modern world, he seems to have known what he was doing. He kind of addresses the whole problem of a bat up city with buildings everywhere and no real grass or greenery. This is kind of like how buildings are just popping up everywhere making the city look like a concrete jungle and getting it polluted. I feel like the Mutant Leader doesn't even come close to measuring up to other Batman villains but it fits for this book and how lame it is. Because, the Mutant Leader is kind of lame there is nothing really special about him.

Book 1 Blog- Dark Knight Returns

I really hate Batman but it's okay I guess

I don't really know how I feel about this version of Bruce Wayne/Batman, this is only because I both like and don't really like him. There's no real reason why I don't like him, I guess it's probably just because I'm not really the biggest batman fan :/ I also don't like how mysterious he is, I know that's the whole batman thing, but does he really have to be so monotone? Yes, I GET THAT THATS HIS THING but really, can he atleast show the slightest bit of emotion for people. Also, I can't really remember why he actually comes out of retirement but it probably has something to do with me being selfish, because I feel as if Batman is just a really selfish guy even though he saves the city and stuff, like he lives alone with butlers, he has no real family. Another reimagined character would have to be from the regular old Joker to Suicide Squads reimagined Joker that Jared Leto got to play the role of and did an okayish job. He was reimagined to be more modern for today's society, he was imagined to be some sort of gangster, he had ALL of that tattoos, grillz he really had it all, he had the classic Joker green hair but it was all slicked back like he was supposed to be G-Eazy. I personally kind of liked this role but nobody will ever be able to top Heath Ledgers role of the Joker in which he did an outstanding job of.

Mini-Review because now I am apparently a critic :P

Rotten Apples? More like rotten grade because I decided to hand everything in very last minute and I hope you'll forgive me :(

JAWS:

First, lets start out with one of the greatest movies ever made, with the corny mechanical shark to the iconic beach shot of the officer being zoomed in on and ALL of this movies wonderful glory. This movie in my books would get a 9/10 not a full 10 just because of the shark, but actually, maybe I change my mind...full 10 because the shark adds to the fact that the movie is so iconic and it truly is what makes this movie so great. Ok, first of all this movie is so great that it actually blows my mind, it has one of the greatest battles EVER between shark and man unless you want to consider Sharknado, but I wouldn't if I was you because in all honesty that movie sucked no matter how many times I claim that it is actually good. Right now I am writing this review while it is 12:38am and I am considering just staying up even later just so I can rewatch that movie again because that's how good it was. The acting was great, soundtrack = GREAT, costume choices, GREAT everything was just GREAT! So, overall I would definitely recommend that you recommend this movie for someone to watch, and then I recommend that you recommend that they recommend this movie to someone and so on and so forth. 10/10 :P

JURASSIC WORLD:

Now, onto the second greatest movie that we have watched in media studies. Who could even hate this movie, that effect were great, the actors were amazing AKA Christ Pratt *insert heart eyes* and Nick Robinson *insert more heart eyes*. DO NOT worry I will include some amazing pictures of those two dreamboats at the end of this review. OK, dinosaurs, who doesn't love 'em? crazy people, that's who! I do not understand how this movie is so amazing and how one could not like it. I MEAN, c'mon, it really does have everything; suspense, thrillers, CHRIS PRATT, dinosaurs and things blowing up and guns being shot off at huge dinosaurs that could rip someone apart in 0.1 seconds, as the Indominus Rex demonstrated for us on many occasions in the film and we thank her for that. I'm pretty tired right now so this is not me really giving my all into this review as I should be, but I guess that's what I get for doing it VERY last minute. But, overall this is such a great movie and my rate for this movie would have to be 9/10 this is literally only because I would like to see more of Chris Pratt even though we see him in this in almost every single scene in this film, it still isn't enough for me and for many others I suspect as well. so yeah, 9/10 would recommend to everyone!

Citizen Kane:

Probably one of the worst movies ever. I know, I know that critics and by critics I mean Mr. Edwards raved so hard about this movie and how he thought it was the best. I have to disagree, not only because it was boring...well, mainly because it was boring but also because I didn't know what was going on half of the time. It was too confusing for me. I did not like how the movie kept going back and forth with flashbacks and then back into the real world that they were in at that moment. Like, I do not being confused when I watch movies, well, I do but not that confused. The only thing I liked about that movie was the whole Rosebud deal. I liked how they kept you in suspense in trying to figure out what Rosebud really meant. Like, who knew it was going to be (SPOILER ALERT) the skimpy old sleigh that he used to ride around on. Sorry, if you kept reading and did not know wha it was or if you don't care then so be it because me either. Well, back to the movie, this movie was terrible and I do not like being confused in the kinds of way that it was confusing me. I do not like flashback movies. End of story :) 5/10 only because of the Rosebud bit, that was pretty cool.

Better Late Than Never, am i right Edwards?

Unfriended? more like Unfriend me. :P

The movie Unfriended is basically talking about how the internet can be dangerous and that you should just really be careful with the content that you post because, sometimes it can just come back and haunt you, maybe not literally like in this movie but you know what I mean. So, the overall meaning of this is to just be careful of your online presence.

Ok, so in this movie this group of friends are all on a Skype call and then they get this notification from some anon, but not really anon account that claims to be this girl that committed suicide on their school yard due to a video that was posted online of her and it really drove her to the edge and then she couldn't take it anymore. In this also, the friends are literally held against their own will to play a game that could decide whether or not they are allowed to live and keep playing this game that the anon account is forcing them to play or else they will DIE if they do not participate truthfully or if they lose the game or if they do not answer the question whatsoever.

Here is just a little Minecraft version of the movie and what it is actually about, not that I lied lol, but yeah.

Also, I do in fact agree with this statement because, you really do have to be careful with what you put out on the internet for everyone to see, or even the way you act on there. Because, eventually it could come back to bite you in the a**.

WILL FERRELL: A MAN OF ONLY 1 CHARACTER

Image result for will ferrell Will Ferrell

John. W. Ferrell was born on July 16, 1967 in Irvine, California. Ferrell was the oldest born son of the keyboard player of the 'Righteous Brothers' Lee Ferrell and his mother was a teacher named Kay. Before becoming a very well known comedian he liked to make his mark at his high school on the football field and was setting records for the school while he was at it. Ferrell decided to stay close to home in his university years by attending University of Southern California, he then graduated with a near 3.0 GPA. Ferrell first got a taste for the television industry and NBC, while he was an intern for their sports department. He then landed a spot on Saturday Night Live in 1995 and from there I think that we all know where he went. He was a regular funny guy, a guy that everyone would come to enjoy how he made them crack a smile in each and every one if his movies. Ferrell first started in the movie industry with a small, but sparking roll in the first Austin Powers movie, and then went to star in A Night at the Roxbury. The film may have not done so well, but it definitely did enough for Ferrell. He then went to perform in other bangers of movies such as Old School (2003), Ferrell turned in a memorable, funny, and money-making performance as Buddy in the film, Elf. Other hits followed in the form of Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004), Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby (2006), Blades of Glory (2007), and Step Brothers (2008).  The three films that I find to be most enjoyable are Talladega Nights, Blades of Glory and one of his more recent movies called Get Hard with Kevin Hart.

Will Ferrell's style comes off as not original but funny, but also original is some sort of way. The style of his acting involves ignorance mixed with grotesque and vulgar language. Ferrell creates comedy by kind of not being funny at all really, but he is still funny at the same time. This comes along with the ignorance component of his keys to comedy. With the narrative form, the only stories and similarities between these 3 movies are a guy being successful and then going downhill and then getting someone to help him out again because that is literally one of the only things that will ferrell knows how to do, besides rock some crazy curly locks.

Fam or Mob?

This movie The Godfather was a decent movie to watch I wasn't really interested in the beginning and then more things started to happen and i got really interested. Anyway, I'm not doing a review of this movie I am just trying to say whether it's more about the Mafia or Family. In my opinion, I believe that this movie is more about family than the Mafia even though the family and the mafia are basically the same thing because the family IS the Mafia..if you know what I mean. Anyway, I believe that it is more about family because they're basically all together as a family and f something were to happen to one person they would all go against that person who did the bad thing or whatever to the other person(I know I'm saying person a lot I just don't know what else to say). Family is a large part of the Mafia and the head of that which is kind of like the guy of the family. Everyone probably goes to him if they need something, which probably gets a bit annoying but that's what they do. I mean, they don't go to him for every little thing they need but if it's a big deal they do. Like how The Don would do anything for that actor (can't remember his name) like when they wouldn't give him a part in a movie he said he would have to pay a visit or make him a deal he can't refuse or something like that and he sent someone to do his dirty work for him and they cut off his prized horses head and then the director or caster or whatever had no choice but to give him this role. So yeah, I believe that it is more about family than it really is about the mafia because The Don is the actor guys godfather so he would do anything for him.
